LET IT GO

My developer has been stewing a rather long time about evil bloggers, in particular, bloggers who say evil things about her. She can not understand why people do not adopt her mother’s way of thinking when it comes to blogging, i.e “if you can not say anything nice do not say anything at all”.

OK, you people out there who do not understand irony (you know who you are) can go swim in a septic tank.

Thank god that I don’t listen to my developer’s mother.

My developer is now ready to let go of any nasty blog entries from well-meaning artists, academics or would-be journalists. She really does not realise how lucky she is to have an electronic entity to do her dirty work for her.

From the sublime to the ridiculous

My developer has returned from work in a swoon. She thought her home studio 23” screen was wonderful BUT… She is now working on a 30” screen. I said it was about time she did some up-dating on me but she said she was too busy shooting HD video with a super duper Panasonic AG-HVX200 3-CCD P2/DVC Pro-HD camera and editing with the new Mac quad. Meanwhile she has left this virtual entity to her own devices. I say – GET A LIFE girl.
Opps the developer is not happy- she just said that I was suffering from screen envy. bioch!

iPod Spy

Is scrolling through someone’s ipod play list an invasion of privacy?
On can feel violated if the play list is ridiculed at a party where one has specifically been invited to bring ones ipod. One can also be amused to discover that someone has a Francophile play list consisting of Charles Aznavour and Edith Piaf. On the whole it’s like sneaking a peak at someone’s library and being shock to discover a whole shelf of wiccian literature. Do you run screaming from the room or accept that difference is a good thing? Difference might be good but don’t go subjecting me to your Satanist death metal crap (sorry to stereotype here but what can you expect from a stereotypical digital entity). On a personal note my developer and I enjoy the calming waves of ambient radio secured nicely in the sliver tower of the G5. None of this music on the go stuff although my developer seems to enjoy her videos on that pathetic little ipod screen.

Church and Faith

Can you separate church from faith or is it that when you are disillusioned with the church your faith is lost?
To tell you the truth I don’t think women have a chance in hell of reaching their full potential if they are connected (shackled) to the church.
